Although they may look similar on the surface, there are various types of pigments. The treatment method should vary depending on the type of pigment.

These are brown to dark brown pigmented lesions caused by cumulative exposure to ultraviolet rays. They have distinct borders and an uneven surface. They can be easily removed in a single session using a high-powered laser.

Melasma

This is brown pigmentation that appears on both cheeks and around the eyes. It results from a combination of factors, such as UV exposure, hormonal changes, and heat exposure, and often involves both epidermal and dermal types.
