   It is a brown to dark brown pigmented lesion caused by accumulated UV exposure. It has distinct boundaries and an uneven surface. It is easily removed in a single session using a powerful laser.

   Melasma

   It is brown pigmentation that occurs on both cheeks and around the eyes. It is caused by a complex interplay of various factors, including ultraviolet radiation, hormonal changes, and heat stimulation, and often involves both epidermal and dermal forms.

   Freckles

   It appears as small, light brown spots scattered around the nose and cheeks. Genetic factors play a significant role, and the spots repeatedly darken and lighten due to ultraviolet rays.

   This is a collective term for various pigmented lesions on the face, such as lentigo, freckles, and age spots. Since the depth and causes vary depending on the type, accurate classification is the starting point for treatment.

   Rosacea

   This is a condition where the cheeks or the area around the nose easily turn red or the redness does not subside. It is caused by dilated capillaries, and when present with pigmentation, the skin tone appears duller.

   Vascular Lesion

   These are tiny blood vessels or red spots visible on the surface of the skin. The area next to the nose is particularly the most uncomfortable spot.

   Post-Inflammatory

   These are brown to red marks left behind after acne or wounds have healed. They occur due to the overproduction of melanin following inflammation and often do not fade easily over time.

   Dermal Melanocytosis

   This is a dermal pigmentation that includes nevus of Ota, nevus of Ito, and acquired bilateral nevus of Ota-like spots (ABNOM). It appears as a grayish-blue to brown color near both cheekbones, and because melanocytes are located deep within the dermis, improvement is difficult with surface treatment alone.

These pigments often exist in combination rather than appearing individually.
EPISODE identifies the type and depth of the pigmentation and determines the appropriate treatment direction.

It is a process of identifying the cause of pigmentation and treating it in different ways for each session.
In addition, all treatment parameters are entered into the chart and reflected during the next treatment .

   It is best not to touch the treatment area immediately after the treatment (0 to 4 hours), and if there is a sensation of heat, applying a light cold compress will be helpful.

   Please avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, strong massages, and skin care for 2 to 3 days after the treatment .

   After treatment there may be redness, swelling, a burning sensation and dryness, but these usually settle on their own within a few days.

   Please avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise on the day of the treatment (for 24 hours). Redness or swelling may persist longer.

   Please moisturize thoroughly for recovery, and make sure to take care of sun protection.

   Please do not forcibly remove scabs if they form. This may cause scarring or hyperpigmentation.

   For Penta toning, please keep the Duoderm on for 2 weeks after the treatment for melasma. If it appears like it might fall off, please apply a new layer wider than before. Please be sure to visit the clinic in the 2nd week after the treatment .
