Rejuran HB is a medical device that combines PN (polynucleotide), a DNA fragment derived from salmon, with hyaluronic acid (HA). The PN creates an environment that allows the skin to heal on its own, while the HA forms a structure that retains moisture on top of it.
Since PN has a nucleotide composition that is 97% similar to human DNA, it is known as a highly biocompatible material.1) It acts as a scaffoldwithin the dermis, while the hyaluronic acid incorporated into it helps retain moisture in the surrounding tissue.
While Rejuran Original focuses on recovery itself, HB adds hydrationto that. With at least three treatments at one-month intervals, skin texture and fine lines gradually improve as the number of treatments accumulates. It is primarily used on skin that feels particularly dry, while improving the overall condition of the skin.

It comes from the DNA most closely related to humans.
The main ingredient in Rejuran, PN, is a DNA fragment extracted from salmon. Among various fish species, salmon has a nucleotide composition that is among the closest to that of humans, so it is known as a material that carries a relatively low risk of causing a foreign body sensation or an immune response.

Following a Rejuran injection, through the tissue-regenerating effects, a temporary improvement in facial wrinklescan be observed. An increase in tissue density can be observed.

Rejuran HB is a product that combines PN with hyaluronic acid (HA). While PN creates an environment conducive to healing, hyaluronic acid locks in moisture within the dermis, helping the skin heal without becoming dry.

How Rejuran HB Works
The injected PN and HA create a supportive environment within the skin
The polymer PN acts as a temporary scaffold within the dermis, and the hyaluronic acid incorporated into it attracts moisture, creating an environment conducive to the restoration of the extracellular matrix.
PN degradation products activate regenerative signals, promoting tissue recovery
As PN breaks down, the resulting compounds activate cellular regenerative signaling pathways, thereby regulating inflammation and promoting tissue repair, including fibroblast and collagen production.
We reuse the broken-down DNA components as building blocks for the recovery of
cells.
Nucleotides and nucleosides broken down in the PN are recycled through the salvage pathway and used for DNA synthesis and the repair of damaged cells.

Please follow these guidelines after your procedure.

Immediately after the procedure, the injection site may become slightly raised. In most cases, this subsides within a day, so please do not rub or press on the area to flatten it.

Please avoid wearing makeup on the day of your procedure. Wait at least 4 hours after the procedure before washing your face, and when you do, wash gently with lukewarm water.

Please avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, and saunas for 24 hours after the procedure. Doing so may cause swelling and bruising to worsen.

Swelling usually subsides within 1–2 days, and bruising usually clears up within 1–2 weeks. Bruising around the eyes may last longer than in other areas.

For one week after the procedure, please take special care to protect your skin from UV rays and keep it well-moisturized. It is best to avoid harsh exfoliation, peels, and steam treatments.

This is not a one-time treatment. We recommend at least three sessions at one-month intervals; after that, the interval will be adjusted based on your condition. If you are undergoing the procedure with HB plus, which contains lidocaine, please be sure to inform us before the procedure if you have ever experienced an adverse reaction to a local anesthetic.

If you experience severe pain, a burning sensation, or redness at the injection site that persists or worsens, please contact the hospital immediately.
