Shrink Universe is a lifting treatment that uses High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) to concentrate at a target depth within the skin to create tissue coagulation points, subsequently stimulating collagen production to lift sagging skin . While the original Shrink was limited to the Dot method, Universe utilizes Micro Pulsed Technology (MPT) to allow users to select between two irradiation methods—Dot and Pulsed— from a single cartridge.
