EMFACE
EMFACE
High frequency acts on the skin layer, while HIFES acts on the facial muscles.
EMFACE
EMFACE
EMFACE is a lifting device that treats both the skin and the underlying facial muscles. It delivers radio frequency and HIFES from a single applicator; the radio frequency heats the skin layer, while HIFES contracts the facial muscles.
The skin and facial expression muscles are interconnected, so as muscle volume and strength decrease with age, the shape of the face changes accordingly. You can easily understand EMFACE as a treatment that exercises facial muscles, just as you build body muscles through personal training at the gym.
Why EMFACE
High frequency waves are in the skin layer,
HIFES is in the facial muscles
High frequency heats the dermis and fat layer, and HIFES stimulates the facial muscles underneath.
Two energies are transferred from a single applicator.
Point 01
In one applicator
It transmits two energies.
High frequency raises the temperature of the dermis and fat layer, and HIFES stimulates the motor nerves of the deeper facial muscles. Heating of the skin layer and muscle contraction occur in a single treatment.
- High frequency heats the dermis and fat layer to 40-42 degrees.
- HIFES stimulates motor neurons of facial muscles
- Muscle layer temperature is in the range of 39.5–40 degrees.
Point 02
forehead and cheeks
Stimulate alternately
One cycle proceeds in the order of forehead → forehead and cheek → cheek → rest. This process is repeated 125 times.
-
Step 01
forehead
The forehead applicator stimulates the forehead muscles
-
Step 02
forehead and cheeks
Stimulate all three sheets
-
Step 03
cheek
The cheek applicator stimulates the zygomaticus major, zygomaticus minor, and levator oculi oris muscles.
-
Step 04
rest
Muscle rest section before the next cycle
Point 03
Attach the applicator
Stimulate alternately
The applicator delivers energy across the entire contact surface. The pain is not severe, but it feels like the muscles are being pulled.
- Attach 1 sheet to the forehead and 2 sheets to both cheeks
- The inside of the applicator is divided into a high-frequency section and a HIFES combined section.
- Two sizes, Regular and Small, combining forehead and cheeks separately
The high-frequency section of the cheek applicator is located in front of the ear. It was positioned this way to avoid the area where the facial nerve passes.
Applicators
On the forehead and cheeks
Each uses a different applicator.
Depending on the muscle being stimulated and the attachment site
The shape and energy compartments are different.

Forehead applicator
Forehead Applicator
- Raising the forehead forehead muscleStimulate the frontalis muscle to strengthen the entire forehead muscles and the ability to open the eyes wide.
- Forehead wrinkles, heavy-looking eyebrows and eyelids
- The attachment range extends up to the upper part of the forehead.
- The area around the eyes is the range where surrounding tissues are pulled together.

- Raising the corners of the mouth zygomaticus major(zygomaticus major), small cheekbone(zygomaticus minor), corner of the mouth muscleStimulate the risorius
- Sagging upper cheeks and mid-face
- nasolabial folds, corners of the mouth, jawline
- Determine the attachment position based on the earlobes, corners of the mouth, and jawline.
The skin and facial expression muscles are connected by the SMAS.
EMFACE treatment the forehead and cheeks together and adjusts the output based on the muscle condition of each area.
How It Works
EMFACE Working Principle
On the forehead and both cheeks
Attach the applicator
High frequency heats the skin layers and
HIFES contracts facial muscles
Collagen increases over several weeks
Muscle tension increases
Treatment Areas
EMFACE treatment area
The treatment is performed according to the location of the muscles on the forehead and cheeks.
The origin and insertion points of each muscle are different.
Attach the applicator to each muscle according to its location.

The Episode Difference
Why It's Different
We review everything from consultation and design to past treatment records.
01
Causes of sagging
First, distinguish them.
Even if they appear to be the same type of sagging, a decrease in skin elasticity and changes in muscle tone must be distinguished.
After checking skin thickness, facial muscle movement, and the location of sagging, the direction of the treatment is determined.
02
Jung-Haan-myeon
Check by dividing into 11 sections.
Divide the middle and lower facial areas into 11 sections to identify areas where sunkenness and sagging are prominent. We plan the treatment based on the EPISODE Lifting Design Guide. The red boxes are the sinking areas, and the blue boxes are the sagging areas.
