How It Works

The 1450nm laser is
It heats the sebaceous glands and dermis.

1450nmepidermissebaceous glands

Heat delivered to the sebaceous glands

The 1450nm wavelength is well absorbed by moisture and sebum within the skin. The sebaceous glands, located about 0.2–1mm deep from the skin surface, receive heat, reducing sebum secretion.

epidermisCollagen in the dermis

Heat that stimulates the dermis

The dermis surrounding the sebaceous glands is also heated. This heat stimulates collagen production and is used to improve enlarged pores and shallow scars.

Why Accu Toning

Medicine and laser
It acts on the sebaceous glands in different ways.

blood vessel The ingested medicine travels along the blood vessels to the sebaceous glands

Oral acne medicine

Isotretinoin ingredient

  • Taken daily, continuously for several months
  • Reduces sebaceous gland size and sebum secretion
  • Lips and skin become dry while taking
  • Do not take if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
1450nm The laser penetrates from the outside of the skin to the sebaceous glands

Accu toning

1450nm laser

  • Visit every two weeks
  • Transferring heat to the sebaceous glands from the outside of the skin
  • You can resume your daily activities on the day of the treatment .
  • Unlike oral medication, it affects only the sebaceous glands in the laser-irradiated area.

Oral acne medication is highly effective at reducing sebum, but it must be taken daily, and it cannot be used if you are planning to get pregnant.
Depending on the severity of the acne, both methods are sometimes used together.
