The main ingredient in Radius, CaHA (calcium hydroxyapatite), is a mineral found in both bones and teeth. Once the microspheres suspended in the gel settle into the dermis, the gel creates immediate volume, and the microspheres stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen.
So it begins to fill up immediately after injection, and even after the gel is absorbed , collagen continues to build up over several months. CaHA breaks down into calcium and phosphate ions over time and leaves no residue in the body.

What is CaHA?
The main ingredient in Radius , CaHA,is calcium hydroxyapatite, which is the same mineral that makes up our bones and teeth. Smooth, spherical microspheres with a diameter of 25–45 μm are evenly dispersed in a sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) gel.
It consists of approximately 30% microspheres and approximately 70% gel carrier. Unlike PLLA, which can cause irritation due to its coarse particles, CaHA has a smooth, uniform spherical shape that settles naturally at the injection site.
Instant volume and collagen at the same time
Immediately after injection, the CMC gel fills the treatment areato create instant volume. The gel is naturally absorbed over several weeks, and the CaHA particles remaining in the area stimulate fibroblasts, inducing the production of collagen (types I and III), elastin, and proteoglycans.
It produces immediate results, and subsequent changes continue much like those caused by a collagen stimulator. The biggest difference from hyaluronic acid fillers is that even after the gel is absorbed, newly formed tissue fills the space.
The thinned dermis thickens from the inside out.
Skin that has thinned due to frequent treatments, aging, and external irritants begins to plump up again starting from the dermis. Ultrasound measurements showed that dermal thickness increased by approximately 12% four months after treatment and by approximately 27% seven months later.

The injection method varies depending on the treatment area and the desired outcome. For areas requiring volume, such as sunken cheeks, the undiluted solution is injected deeply; for improving fine lines, skin texture, and elasticity, the solution is diluted with saline and lidocaine and injected broadly into the superficial layers.
There are certain areas where Radius is not administered. For areas with thin skin or significant movement—such as the lips, lip contours, eyelids, and under-eye area—the particles may be visible through the skin, so we recommend alternative treatments.

Please follow these guidelines after your procedure.

Immediately after the procedure, you will notice an immediate increase in volume due to the gel filler. As the gel is absorbed over the course of several weeks, the volume may feel as though it has decreased slightly; this is a normal part of the process as collagen builds up.

To ensure the treated area settles smoothly, gently massage it as directed. If you feel any tightness, gently press and smooth it out in a circular motion.

Apply a cold compress to the treated area. Wrap the ice in a towel or similar material to prevent it from coming into direct contact with your skin.

Please avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, saunas, and steam rooms for 24 hours after the procedure. Doing so may cause swelling and bruising to worsen.

Swelling usually subsides within 2–3 days, and bruising typically fades within 1–2 weeks. You can cover the injection marks with makeup starting the next day.

Collagen gradually increases over a period ranging from several weeks to several months after the procedure. It is natural for these changes to occur gradually over time rather than all at once.
