The eye area is a place to revitalize, rather than fill in.

Juvelook Eye

Juvelook Eye

Collagen boosters designed to restore natural volume under the eyes and reduce fine lines require a different approach than treatments for other areas.

Juvelook Eye is a collagen booster that involves the precise injection of PDLLA particles—the smallestin the Juvelook series, measuring approximately 20 μm— into the superficial layers around the eyes, stimulating the growth of the body’s own collagen and elastin around the particles. It differs from hyaluronic acid fillers, which instantly add volume, in the way it creates volume.

So, the changes don't happen all at once. However, over time, the area under the eyes gradually plumps up and fine lines improve.

About Juvelook Eye

How does PDLLA, the main ingredient in Juvelook Eye, work on the eye area (
)?

PDLLA Particle Structure
01

What is PDLLA?

The main ingredient in Juvelook-I is PDLLA, or poly-D,L-lactic acid. Although it belongs to the polylactic acid family, which is biodegradable in the body, it differs in that the D- and L-forms are randomly linked, resulting in an amorphous structure that does not form crystals. The particles have a hollow, porous, network-like structure.

Juvelook Eye features particles finely processed to approximately 20 μm, making it the smallest in the Juvelook series and offering the highest particle density. The small particles are ideal for injection into the delicate skin around the eyes using fine needles.

Mechanism of Action of PDLLA
02

It works in two ways

PDLLA reduces the levels of enzymes (MMP2, 3, 9) that break down collagen, thereby minimizing the breakdown of existing collagen, while simultaneously promoting the proliferation of adipose-derived stem cells to help generate new collagen and elastin fibers.

This approach differs from hyaluronic acid fillers, which instantly add volume. Instead, it works by accelerating collagen regeneration in the dermis and slowing down collagen breakdown.

Changes in Collagen and Elastin Fiber Density Over Time Following the Procedure
03

The changes are most noticeable around 8 weeks.

In a study involving the injection of PDLLA into the dermis, the density of adipose-derived stem cells, collagen, and elastin fibers began to increase starting at 2 weeks and showed the most pronounced increase at 8 weeks.

Results from animal studies may differ from those in humans, and individual results may vary depending on the treatment cycle and duration.

We recommend this to people like this

For those with sunken, shadowed under-eye areas and
dark circles that appear pronounced

For those who find their makeup gets trapped in fine lines around their eyes

For those who want to avoid the unnatural fullness of fillers

For those who would rather see gradual improvement—
—rather than making a sudden change

Online Treatment Report

Since collagen is produced slowly over several weeks, it’s difficult to notice any changes around the eyes, which you see every day. We record the products used and the injection volumes by area in an online report, which serves as a benchmark for evaluating the effectiveness of Juvelook Eye.

Notice

Please follow these guidelines after your procedure.

  • 1

The volume immediately after the procedure is due to the saline solution used to hydrate the product. The next day, as the fluid is absorbed, the volume may seem to decrease, but this is a normal process.

  • 2

Juvelook is a treatment performed three times at one-month intervals. Collagen production begins to increase two weeks after the procedure and becomes most noticeable around eight weeks.

  • 3

Gently massage for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days. If you rub too hard, the particles may clump together on one side, so be sure to massage gently.

  • 4

Please avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, saunas, and steam rooms for 24 hours after the procedure. Doing so may cause swelling and bruising to worsen.

  • 5

For two weeks after the procedure, please avoid applying strong pressure to the treated area, as well as skin care treatments, radiofrequency, and ultrasound lifting. The area needs time to heal.

  • 6

Swelling usually subsides within 2 to 3 days, and bruising usually subsides within 1 to 2 weeks. You can cover the injection marks with makeup starting the next day.

  • 7

If you experience persistent severe pain, redness, warmth, or a palpable lump at the treatment site, please contact the hospital. These symptoms require prompt evaluation.
